Happy Friday

The trial I’m on has begun. It’s an interesting experience. We the jurors are starting to bond a little. Everyone’s tired though. And I’m fighting a sore throat. I just can’t get laryngitis again. It’s no fun. The cough medicine with codine does work, but that’s my last resort.

The best part is people watching on the courthouse steps. My game is to try to guess what people are coming into court for. One gentleman was dressed in a suit with a buttoniere. Civil marriage.

Another group looked completely disheveled, talking about which guy sees which child when. Family Court

I’ll write more once the trial is over. Gotta get a mint candy and soothe this throat.
